- Chandigarh, Feb 10- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that the Present State Government has not only transformed the system but has developed a strong administrative system to make the life of the people happier. The state government is making efforts to provide the benefit of all services at their home.
- The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering in the Jan Vishwas Rally of Kalanaur Vidhan Sabha Constituency at New Anaj Mandi in Rohtak today.
- The Chief Minister said that when the present government took over the reins in 2014, there was a fearful situation in Haryana, corruption was at peak and criminals had political protection, the state government understood the situation and made efforts to transform the system. He said that e-Disha Kendras, Antyodaya Saral Kendras have been opened. Computer operators have been deputed in Gram Sachivalayas to easily provide services to the people. He said that the present government has curbed corruption by making online the registries of land and made simultaneous arrangements for intkaal. Thus, the present government ended middlemen, in this.
- The online transfer policy of the state government has become the role model for the country. Now, the government jobs are being provided only on the basis of merit. In earlier government, there was lot of corruption for jobs. Similarly, the state government has pulled a plug on Inspector Raj who used to harass the shopkeepers and traders, he added.
- He said that during the previous governments, people were tricked for not paying their electricity bills. The Power Nigams were in losses to the tune of Rs 27,000 crore. The state government formulates a Bill settlement scheme and recovered Rs 500 crore from the pending bills of Rs 4,000 crore and waived off Rs 3,500 crore under the scheme. He said that with the implementation of this scheme, the Power Nigams of the state have come into profits. Now, the electricity bills have been reduced to almost half and about 50 per cent villages of the state are getting 24 hours power supply. He said that if the remaining villages had also taken the benefit of this scheme, then the state government would have reduced the electricity rates more.
- He said that the Ayushman Bharat Scheme has been implemented to provide better health facilities to poor families. So far , 15.5 lakh families have been covered under the scheme. He said that in the 55 months of the BJP government, numerous development works have been carried out, which were not carried out in the regime of previous governments in the last 55 years.
- The Chief Minister also directed the concerned officers to provide gas connections to those women, who had no gas connection, under Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Scheme within 48 hours.
- On the forthcoming elections, the Chief Minister urged the voters to bring the BJP government similar victory in Rohtak Lok Sabha elections as happened in Jind bye-elections and teach a lesson to those who set Rohtak on fire for their selfish interests.
- He said that the people of opposition parties are scared of the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi , thus they are forming alliances. Such alliances have no future, he added.
- On the occasion, the chief minister announced development works to the tune of Rs 224 crore for the development of Kalanaur Vidhan Sabha Constituency. That included Veterinary hospital, park, vyayamshalas, health services, roads, bye-pass, railway underpass, water management, re-modelling of Kahnaur distributory, drains, water drainage, and others.
- The Chief Minister said that after the demonetisation and GST, the public has deposited huge amount and the Government is spending your money on you. He said that there is no Modi’s family, neither of Yogi nor of Manohar Lal. Therefore, their only goal is to serve the public. He said that the country is completely safe in the hands of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi.
- The Chief Minister said that in order to maintain the presence of employees in the offices, the State Government has implemented the biometric attendance system which has shown positive results. Now, employees work for more hours as compared to the period during previous governments.
- The Chief Minister reached the Rohtak Sugar Mill after the public meeting and talked to the farmers there. The farmers express gratitude to the Chief Minister for raising the prices of sugarcane.
- The Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr Manish Grover also spoke on the occasion.
- Chandigarh, Feb 10 : ADGP Haryana and Special Officer (Community Policing and Outreach),Chief Minister’s Office, Mr O.P. Singh said that February 19 would prove to be an important day for the State as, in collaboration with Art of Living foundation “Drug Free India” program will be launched from Guru Jambheshwar University Hisar. Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will be the Chief Guest in this program. Apart from this, more than twenty thousand youth from Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Jind districts will participate in this program.
- ADGP Mr O.P. Singh held a meeting with officers and officials of administration and police, various organizations and representatives of various NGOs in Hisar today, regarding preparations and arrangements of the Drug Free India program being organized at Guru Jambheshwar University on February 19.
- Mr OP Singh said that this city will prove to be doing a historic work in the directions of Drug Free movement and on that day Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, renowned world humanitarian leader, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and many celebrities and dignitaries will be witness to this historic moment.
- He said that various sports activities such as Rahgiri were started by the State government so as to save the youth from drug and alcohol addiction and to mentally prepare them for leading a healthy life along with their holistic development. These programs have shown positive results. In the same episode, on February 19, in collaboration with the Art of Living, a movement called "Drug Free India" will be organized at the Jambheshwar University. An exhibition regarding campaign against drug addiction will also be organised on this occasion, at the venue.
- Chandigarh, Feb 10- The Theme State of the 33rd Surajkund International Crafts Mela-2019, Maharashtra, presented a scintillating Fashion Show, showcasing the richness of Maharashtra’s traditional styles. The Fashion show took the audience back in time to 18th Century in the first round. The models sashayed down the ramps in traditional clothes of the 'Katkari Samaj'. The male models displayed the Dhoti and female models adorned the 'kashtha' costumes.
- The second round of the fashion show stepped into the 19th Century, which presented the famous ‘Nauwari’ saari also called the 9 yard saari. The Nauwari saari during the time was a part of the Lavani culture and was a part of the traditional attire worn for the Lavani dance. Models wore the Nauwari saari in the most colourful forms with intricate traditional border-work. The male models displayed the traditional Dhoti coupled with Kurta, traditional Hats, etc that was a part of the traditional wear of the 19th Century Maharashtra.
- In the next round, the Fashion show lead to contemporary times, where the traditional dresses got the modern hues, transforming traditional threads into fashion statements. This round focused on the Groom and Bridal wear. The traditional Lehangas wore a royal look and shimmered with intricate works of traditional embroidery. The male models too walked the ramp wearing cotton silk Kurtas teamed up with Pajyama, Churidars, Coats and Sherwanis.
- The Chaupal was echoing with laughter’s of the audience when the stalwarts from the world of humour and satire came together for Hasya kavi Sammelan. The much-awaited event saw hoards of people grabbing the seats at the amphitheatre to see their favourite poets. Many renowned names like Surender Sharma, Sardar Manjeet Singh, Budhi Prakash Dadhich, Dr. Surender Dubey, Suresh Awasthi and Gajender Solanki. Each artist in his own unique way made the audience laugh on their satire and jokes on various topics.
- The weekend started on a high note at Surajkund Mela with a galaxy of visitors filling every nook and corner of the Mela premises. As more and more visitors came to the mela, the atmosphere garnered even more energy and colour. From cultural performances by foreign nations like Egypt, Uganda, Syria, Tajikistan and Thailand to the foot tapping shows by Punjab's and Maharashtra's folk singers and dancers kept the Chaupal packed. Shoppers and patrons of art and craft were seen holding huge shopping bags and smiles on their faces. It was a busy day for all craftspersons as people thronged to buy their exquisite products.
- Mr. Kailash from Rajasthan, has brought one of the most unique works of art and exceptional talent in the form of miniature Mughal paintings. He said, the entire process of making these paintings involve one-hair brush and tedious hours and months to make a masterpiece. Many details in the paintings are so intricate and minute that one needs a magnifying glass to see them in full detail. Mr. Kailash said, this is a traditional work handed down generations and they have further added innovative mediums to promote this art. Another artist Mr. Gopal Prasad Sharma has also brought the same art from Rajasthan. He said, with enthusiasm that 'his work is unique because of the creativity and the finest detail involved in making it"
- Ms. Pushpa Bakat from West Bengal has brought one of the most fascinating handicraft talent with fish scales. Her entire work is made from Rohu and Katla fish scales which are glued together to make artistic masterpieces. Her works include highly detailed decorations, Gautam Budhha under a tree and the Krishan Arjun Rath which is making visitors stop at her shop at the first look. She said, her creations take few days to months to complete and for this work and she has won the state award thrice.
- Surajkund is a mélange of arts and crafts and a must visit place for admirers of such talent.
- Chandigarh, Feb 10- The Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi will send out a message of cleanliness from the land of karma, Kurukshetra on February 12, 2019, during the Swachh Shakti-2019 programme. This programme is dedicated to women.
- While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that about 7,500 women representatives from across the country and 15,000 women Panches and Sarpanches from across the state, are participating in this programme.
- He said that in order to empower women, the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi had first launched the Swachh Shakti-2017 programme from Gujarat, Swachh Shakti-2018 from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and the third Swachh Shakti-2019 programme is being inaugurated from Kurukshetra in Haryana.
- He said that under this mission, the Centre Government and the state government has, so far, released Rs. 122.69 crore and Rs. 169.75 crores, respectively to Urban Local Bodies. In order to promote cleanliness in the state. The state government has implement Swachhta Shehri Puraskaar yojana. Under which, the best Ward in Municipal Corporation areas would be awarded cash prize of Rs 2 lakh for its sanitation efforts, best Ward in Municipal Committees with cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and best Ward in Municipalities with cash prize of Rs 50,000. He said that in the current financial year 2018-19, Rs 75 crore was approved in the revised budget.
- He said that women coming to this programme would be informed regarding efforts to further empower the women of the state. Under which, they would visit women hockey nursery, Kalpana Chawla museum and women police stations.
- He said that the message of sanitation and cleanliness has reached the population of the state. Under the campaign, the number of toilets were constructed, has reached to 70,000 from 60,000. In Haryana so far, more than 3,700 community toilets have been constructed for the public.
- Chandigarh, Feb 10: The Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of National Institute of Ayurveda at Shri Mata Mansa Devi Complex Panchkula on Feb 12, 2019 at 11 AM, from Kurukshetra through digital link.
- MLA Panchkula, Mr Gian Chand Gupta said that the estimated cost of this project is Rs. 270.50 crore. This Institute will be a national level Institute for Ayurveda treatment, education and research with 250 beds IPD Hospital . The Institute will cater to over 500 students every year offering UG, PG and PHD degree with facilities for auditorium, Hostel accommodation, staff quarters and guest house etc. Government of Haryana as well as Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine board have provided 19.87 Acre of Land of Shri Mata Mansa Devi shrine Board at Panchkula on lease to the Ministry of AYUSH. Topography and Geo-technical investigation has been completed. The concept plan, Master plan and architectural drawings are being finalized. Construction of this building will start soon, he added.
- He said that to give scientific credibility to the Indian medical system, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, National Health policy, 2017 envisages mainstreaming of AYUSH in all tiers of healthcare focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
- This is one of the prestigious Institution being set up at Panchkula with the help of Government of India which will usher in an era of boost to Ayurveda education and treatment, he added.
- Chandigarh, Feb 10- The Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi will inaugurate National Cancer Institute (NCI) at Badhsa, Jhajjar, from Kurukshetra on February 12, 2019, through video conferencing. This day, will be a historic day not only for Badli Vidhan Sabha Constituency but also for the entire state.
- The Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr O.P. Dhankar was presiding over a review meeting regarding preparations for the inauguration of NCI, jointly with District Administration and AIIMS administration, in Jhajjar today. The Union Health Minister, Mr J.P. Nadda would be present as Chief Guest in the inauguration ceremony of the National Cancer Institute in Badhsa, he added.
- Mr Dhankar directed the officers to make adequate arrangements on large scale so as to make the inaugural ceremony memorable.
- During the meeting, Dr. Angel Singh on behalf of AIIMS administration informed the Minister that the inaugural ceremony would begin from 9.30 am and there would be live broadcast of the inauguration of NCI by Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi through video conferencing. The broadcasting arrangements would be jointly be organised by District and AIIMS administration. Guidelines were also issued to the concerned officers to complete the arrangements for the inaugural ceremony in a time bound manner.
