- Chandigarh, Jan 28 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that in the recent recruitment to Group-D posts, youth having higher education such as B.A., M.A. and B.Tech have got selected. The Haryana Government has decided that the youth should get further growth in their career on the basis of their academic qualification and for this, they would not have to obtain No Objection Certificate from the government.
- The Chief Minister was speaking at the concluding ceremony of two-day Mega Job Fair organised at Pt. Chiranji Lal Government Postgraduate College, Karnal today.
- He congratulated the 2300 youth who have selected by various multinational companies present in the fair. He said that it is a matter of great pride that of the selected candidates, 690 candidates are from Karnal. On this occasion, he handed over the appointment letters to four boys and girls.
- Mr. Manohar Lal said that few years ago, it was a challenge to provide employment to unemployed youth. The present State Government accepted this challenge and made concerted efforts to provide employment to youth. As a result of these efforts, government jobs were given to 55,000 youth in last four-and-a-half years. Apart from this, 1.5 lakh youth was got placed in private companies. The two-day Mega Job Fair is also a part of these concerted efforts. He said that in next eight months, 12 more such fairs would be organised across the state and there is a target to connect to about 30,000 educated youth.
- He said that the number of government jobs is limited and jobs cannot be provided to everyone. In order to meet this demand, the present State Government promoted skill development. For this, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University was established at Palwal. The university starting functioning on November 1 last and initially four courses have been started. Every year 12,000 students would get enrolled in the university and about 800 courses of skill development would be taken. Similarly, the second scope was to promote industries for generating large scale job opportunities. Today, Haryana is the most preferred state for setting up industry and it is the first priority of investors. He said that investor summit was organised in the state in which 350 entrepreneurs had participated of which MoUs of 145 have been matured and remaining are in pipeline. The state was at 14thposition in terms of Ease of Doing Business in 2014 then it reached to 6th position in 2016 and in 2018, it has reached at 3rd position. He said that 23,000 micro, small and medium enterprises have been established in the state and this way, about 1.5 lakh youth have got employment.
- He said that it had also been decided to give marks in interview according to the experience of youth. Under which, half mark would be given for one year experience and five marks for ten years experience. In the recent recruitment of Group-D, 12,000 candidates out of total 18,000 candidates are belonging to such families which had no family member in government jobs.
- Director General, Industrial Training and Employment Department, Mr. T.L. Satyaprakash also spoke on this occasion.
- Chandigarh, Jan 28- Haryana Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya said that Shri Guru Ravi Das ji had shown the path of humanity, harmony and equality to the society.
- The Governor was addressing the gathering at the First National Convention organized by Shri Guru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth in New Delhi today.
- The Governor said that a Guru does not belong to any particular caste or class but he belongs to the entire society. He hoped that Shri Guru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth would further spread the teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas ji extensively around the world.
- Those present included Deputy Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Mr. L. Murugan, National General Secretary, Shri Guru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth, Mr Surajbhan Kataria and former MP, Mrs. Anita Arya.
- Chandigarh, Jan 28- Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has extended the date of online data capturing for the enrollment of all Government/ Permanent/Temporary affiliated schools from Class VIII up to Class XII and Government/ Permanent/Temporary affiliated schools up to Class VIII for Academic Session 2018-19 without late fee, to February 26, 2019. Earlier the last date was January 27, 2019.
- A spokesman of the Board disclosed this today.
- Chandigarh, Jan 28: In Haryana, two Sub-health Centres, three Primary Health Centres, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Industrial Training Institute, one Solar Plant and one Government Veterinary Hospital will be set up at different places as the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded approval to several proposals for providing land for this purpose. Besides this, he also approved the proposal to provide land measuring 2085 Kanal and 19 Marla in village panchayat Mandawar, Sohna in district Gurugram to Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
- While giving this information, an official spokesman said that a Sub-health Centre will be set up in village Madha Khand Narnaund in district Hisar as the Chief Minister has accorded approval to the proposal of Development and Panchayats Department for giving 2 Kanal land of gram panchayat Madha Khand to Health Department on a lease period of 33 years for this purpose.
- Besides, the Chief Minister also approved the proposal for giving 16 Kanal and 3 Marla land of gram panchayat Samana Bahu district Karnal to Health Department on a lease period of 33 years for the construction of Sub-health Centre.
- He also accorded approval to give 12 Kanal and 10 Marla land of gram panchayat Chora Khalsa district Karnal to Health Department on lease period of 33 years for the construction of Primary Health Centre. Besides, he also approved to provide 15 kanal and 7 Marla land of village panchayat Lilodh district Rewari to Health Department on lease period of 33 years for the construction of Primary Health Centre. Also, he approved to provide 12 Kanal land of gram panchayat Nakhdaula district Gurugram to Health Department for the Primary Health Centre.
- The Chief Minister also approved the proposal to provide land measuring 2085 Kanal and 19 Marla land of village panchayat Mandawar, Sohna in district Gurugram to Directorate, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Ministry of Home Affairs, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road New Delhi, CISF Unit DMRC, Shastri Park New Delhi. Besides, he also approved the proposal to give land measuring 48 acre, one Kanal and 18 Marla of village Panchayat Kilohard in district Sonipat to Technical Education Department for the construction of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT). Apart from this, he also approved the proposal to provide 5 acres land of village Panchayat Jakhandadi district Fatehabad to Industrial Training Department on a lease period of 33 years for the construction of Industrial Training Institute.
- The Chief Minister also approved the proposal to give 45 acres, 5 Kanal and 7 Marla land of village Panchayat Dhandlan district Jhajjar to Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) on lease period of 33 years for the setting up of Solar Plant. He also approved to give land measuring one acre of gram panchayat Noorkihali district Fatehabad to Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department on lease period of 33 years for the construction of Government Veterinary Hospital.
- Chandigarh, Jan 28- The cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 13.97 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 152.57 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.
- While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills said that the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad has produced a maximum of over 2.65 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 27.86 lakh quintals of sugarcane. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak has produced over 2.11 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 24.11 lakh quintals of sugarcane, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal which has produced over 1.63 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 17.38 lakh quintals of sugarcane and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal, has produced over 1.42 quintals of sugar by crushing 15.27 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
- Similarly, the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has produced 1.32 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 15.78 lakh quintals of sugarcane, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana has produced 1.14 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 13.04 lakh quintals of sugarcane, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has produced over 1.01 quintals of sugar by crushing 10.63 lakh quintals of sugarcane, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has produced 95,500 quintals of sugar by crushing 10.04 lakh quintals of sugarcane, and Cooperative Sugar Mill Sonipat has produced 52,350 quintals of sugar by crushing 6.07 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
- Apart from this, HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh has produced 1.56 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 17.66 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
- He said that so far, the average rate of sugar recovery by the cooperative sugar mills has been registered as 9.53 per cent.
