- Chandigarh, November 13- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today conducted a surprise inspection of cleanliness in Panipat city and issued strict directions to the officers of District Administration and Municipal Corporation to ensure cleanliness in the city.
- The Chief Minister also directed the concerned officials to ensure that every day, the city should be cleaned before 8 am.
- Later, the convoy of the Chief Minister stopped on Sanoli road at Hyderabadi Chowk where garbage was scattered near the shop of Rakesh Kumar. The Chief Minister sought the information related to cleanliness management in the city from shopkeepers. On this, Rakesh Kumar, a shopkeeper said that in his 45 years, he has first time seen that any chief minister himself inspecting the cleanliness of the city.
- The Chief Minister also inspected the cleanliness of chowk near new vegetable mandi, a drain near Babail post and Aggarsen Chowk for cleanliness and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for ensuring cleanliness in future also.
- Chandigarh, Nov 13 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that on the occasion of Mahachhath Parv Mahotsav, one should take a resolve to bring purity in his life only then we can register victory over social evils such as female foeticide, dowry, untouchability and casteism.
- The Chief Minister, who was speaking after performing Chhath Puja organised by Chhath Sewa Samiti Mandal at Karnal today, said that Chhath Puja is one of our main festivals.
- He said that on this festival, we should take resolve to promote cleanliness. It is the responsibility of every person to ensure cleanliness in surroundings.
- On the demand of Chhath Sewa Samiti Mandal, he announced Rs 11 lakh for construction of dharamshala.
- Chandigarh, November 13- The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has uploaded a public consultation or objections note on their website https://www.gmda.gov.in/ to receive public opinion or views on the proposed revision in the Final Development Plan Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex 2031 AD, for setting up of proposed Global City 36,36B and 37B by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). The last date for public consultation has been extended till Nov 30, 2018.
- While giving this information today, a spokesman of the Authority said that for this project, HSIIDC has proposed some revisions which had been in principally approved by the Government with the condition that public objections or consultation may be taken on the proposed revision for setting up of proposed Global City.
- He said that the proposed revisions included re-designation of Global City in sector 36,36B and 37B of GMUC -2031 AD as Special Zone with mixed land use and 300% global FAR, constituting the land parcel of 1002.45 acres already acquired by Industries Department of Haryana and re-designation of 147-acre of land in the Transport and Communication zone falling between National Highway and Northern Periphery Road. The mentioned land is proposed to be interchanged with an open space zone in published Final Development Plan of Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex-2031 AD to ensure that open space land is not reduced through the proposed revision.
- He said that other proposed revision is to make the amendment with respect to the area measuring 161 acres along sector M3 in IMT Manesar which has been shown inadvertently as an agriculture zone in the Final Development Plan of Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex-2031 AD, though the said area was shown as residential zone as per the draft Development plan of Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex-2031 AD of 2031 AD, notified on October4, 2010.
- Any person who has any comment or objection on the proposed revisions can submit their comments or objections on the “Consultation” tab on the GMDA website www.gmda.gov.in. The complete details of the proposed amendments along with plan and report are available on the website, he added.

- Chandigarh, Nov 13 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi would inaugurate Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway and Ballabhgarh Metro Link and lay foundation stone of Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University, Dudhola, Palwal on November 19, 2018. On this day, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting near Farukhnagar crossing where he would dedicate various projects to the state.
- The Chief Minister was interacting with media persons at Karnal today.
- He said that the present State Government has carried out equitable development in the state in last four years without any discrimination. He said that soon MC elections would be held in Hisar, Rohtak, Panipat, Yamunanagar and Karnal.
- Mr. Manohar La said that Haryana bagged first place in the country in Haryana Gramin Swachh Survekshan-2018 and Karnal city bagged first place in the state in urban ranking and 42nd place in the country. He said that the aim of the government is to take Karnal to number 10 for which cooperation of people is required.
- He said that in order to give the message of cleanliness on 'Gurupurab' on November 23, 11,000 lamps would be lighted in 20 schools of 20 wards of Municipal Corporation Karnal on the eve of November 22. A Swachhta Rally would be organised on this occasion. This function would be organised from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. He said that officers of Municipal Corporations of Karnal and Panipat have been working to make both the cities 'Dustbin Free'.
- The Chief Minister informed the media persons that he had visited about nine places in the Karnal city to take stock of cleanliness arrangements and issued necessary directions to officers. Replying to a question regarding development works in Karnal, he said that various development works such as drainage of water, sewerage system, construction of roads and installation of tiles have been carried out.
- On being asked to comment on question of Delhi Chief Minister, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal to visit and see dispensary in Haryana, he said that the Delhi Chief Minister should worry about Delhi and not interfere in other states. If there is any issue in Delhi and Haryana Government could fix it then Mr. Kejriwal should inform him through a written communication. The matter would be considered, he added.
- Replying to a question related to management of Kalpana Chawla Medical College, the Chief Minister said that directions have been issued to Deputy Commissioner to constitute an advisory committee of retired doctors and get information on possible improvements. Their report would be considered, he added.
- Replying to another question, he said that tender process of sugar mill has been completed and soon work on its expansion would be undertaken. The crushing season of the mill has started today.
- He said that efforts are being made for relocation of dairy from the city. A committee has been constituted for this purpose under the chairmanship of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister, Mr. O.P. Dhankar and after receiving report from the committee, the dairy would be relocated to appropriate place.
- Chandigarh, Nov 13 – The Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Mr. Justice Krishna Murari administered oath of office to Mr. Justice Rajeev Sharma as Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, here today.
- It is worth mentioning here that Mr. Justice Rajeev Sharma has joined as Judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on transfer from Uttarakhand High Court.
- Judges and advocates of the Punjab and Haryana High Court were present on this occasion.
- Chandigarh, November 13- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will flag-off a marathon race “Run for Road Safety” on December 1, 2018 at 7 am in Yamunanagar. The online registration for getting the chest number to participate in the marathon will start from November 11, 2018.
- While giving this information, an official spokesman said that in the present state government, six marathons had been organised in the state, of which two were in Hisar and one each in Jind, Panchkula, Ambala and Sirsa. The seventh marathon would be organised on December 1, 2018 in Yamunanagar, with theme “Run for Road Safety”.
- He said that the marathon race “Run for Road Safety” would work in establishing a special identity of Yamunanagar in the state. In this marathon, lakhs of people belonging to different age groups of the district would participate to make it a huge success.
- To participate in the event and to become a volunteer one can register at www.yamunanagarmarathon.in. The chest number cards would be made available on November 29, 2018 at Marathon Expo in Yamunanagar, he added.
- Chandigarh, November 13- Shri Krishna Ayush University, Kurukshetra is providing admission opportunity to candidates of all categories, who were deprived of National Eligible Entry Examination (NEET), on the vacant seats of B.A.M.S and B.H.M.S courses for academic session 2018-19, in different colleges of the State. The registration and admission process of such candidates will be completed in the mop-up round to be held on November 15, 2018.
- While giving this information today, Registrar of the University, Dr Krishan Jatian said that this decision had been taken on the interim order of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh which came on November 12, under which besides the NEET exam, other candidates would be also be considered eligible for admission in B.A.M.S and B.H.M.S courses.
- He said that such candidates who are interested to enroll themselves in different AYUSH colleges of Punjab and Haryana, they would be given the opportunity to enroll in the counseling to be held in Shri Krishna Ayush University, Kurukshetra. The candidates would have to reach Shri Krishna AYUSH University on November 15 at 9 am for the completion of their registration and enrollment process. The continuity of these admissions would be based on the final decision of the case filed in the High Court, he added.
