- Chandigarh, Oct 24 – Haryana Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma said that during last four years, significant changes have been made in the education policy of the state. Apart from this, 11 other states have studied the online teachers transfer policy of Haryana for implementing the same in their respective states.
- Mr. Sharma was speaking during a function organised on the completion of four years of the present State Government, here today.
- He said that during the tenure of previous governments, the teachers used to worry a lot about their transfers due to which they were unable to pay full attention towards the education of students. The present State Government had formulated an online policy for their transfers under which transfers of 60,000 teachers were done with a single click and all teachers got the postings as per their choice.
- The Education Minister said that in order to make children good human beings, the present State Government had included shalokas of the Bhagavad Gita in the school syllabus so that students also get knowledge of social values.
- Replying to a question, he said that the present State Government has implemented Saraswati Bus Service for girl school students in hilly area of Morni.
- He said that the present State Government has ensured quality education right from school level to and higher education level. Apart from this, trainings have been imparted to educated youth so as to make them employable or to start their own ventures.
- Chandigarh, Oct 24 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval of Rs 48.25 lakh for construction of new road from Panchayat Ghar to Kheri Mod in village Kapro, district Hisar.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the total length of this road would be 0.85 km. After construction of this road, approximately three km distance would be reduced to reach village Kapro and other adjoining villages.
- Chandigarh, Oct 24 – Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr. Karan Dev Kamboj said that we have to strengthen the unity and integrity of the nation by following the path shown by Maharishi Valmiki Ji to make India a leading country in the world.
- Mr. Kamboj was speaking during district level function organised on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti at Kaithal today.
- He said that India is a country of great personalities who have shown the right path to people. Today, we need to follow the path shown by them and work for the progress and prosperity of the country.
- The Minister said that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal had decided to celebrate the jayantis of all great personalities every year at government level. The present State Government has implemented number of schemes for the welfare of all sections of the society, he added.
- Chandigarh, Oct 24 - Haryana Director General of Police (DGP), Mr B.S. Sandhu said that providing quality education and moral values to children is the key objective of DAV Police Public Schools. Keeping this goal in mind, 22 schools have been set up by the Police Department and all the schools have been provided with the facilities of good teachers and others to ensure that students get quality education.
- Mr Sandhu was addressing the gathering after inaugurating new building of DAV Police Public School constructed by Haryana Police Housing Corporation at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore, in Kurukshetra today.
- The DGP congratulated all the officials, guardians, teachers and children for the new building and said that 22 schools have been set up by the Police Department in Haryana in which about 16,000 students are getting quality education. Half of these 16,000 students are the children of police personnel. Apart from quality education, all these schools have been provided with facilities of sports, cultural activities and other modern facilities. Efforts were being made to make these schools the best schools in the State, he added.
- Later, while interacting with media persons, Mr Sandhu said that in view of Diwali, the Court has fixed a time period of two hours from 8 pm to 10 pm for bursting crackers. Those who would not abide by these orders would face registration of cases for the contempt of court.
- He said that in view of the festival season, the police administration is fully alert and the duties have been put in place to make all out arrangements in the state. All officers and employees will perform their duties with utmost dedication.
- ADGP, Ambala Range, Dr. R.C. Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Mr S.S. Gulia, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Surinder Pal Singh, representative of DAV police public school management and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
- Chandigarh, Oct 24 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has dedicated the logo of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, to the people of the state.
- While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the logo comprises of cow, buffalo, dog, milking machine, A.I. Container and bottle, and packet of milk. He said that cow and buffalo indicates the best quality of milch animals whereas milking machine, A.I. container indicates the modern techniques of dairy farming. Similarly, the dog indicates the conscientiousness and green leaves indicates the prosperity of the state.
- He said that there are 89.20 lakh livestock in the state, of which 18.08 lakh are cows, 60.85 lakh buffaloes, 3.36 lakh sheep, 3.69 lakh goats, 1.27 lakh pigs, 37,000 horses and pony, 19,000 camels, 3,000 ass, 9,000 mules, besides 4.28 million poultry in the state.
- During the year 2017-18, about 89 lakh tonnes milk was produced in the state. He said that the per capita milk productivity in Haryana state is 1,057 ml per day which is second highest in the country. With 55,855 lakh (5.87 percent) egg production, the state of Haryana is at the sixth place in the country, he added.
- The spokesman said that the state has six polyclinics, 1,018 government veterinary hospitals, 1,814 government veterinary dispensaries, ten semen banks and three semen production centres. At present, 953 veterinary doctors and 2,540 VLDA are working for veterinary care.
- He said that in order to increase milk production, increasing the number of animals of high quality and nurturing them properly is very important. Artificial insemination is done which leads to improving the genetic quality of animals and increasing the milk production.
