- Chandigarh, Sept 7 – The Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has fixed the Minimum Support Prices (MSP) of paddy and coarse grains of Fair Average Quality for the Kharif Marketing Season 2018-19.
- While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Government said that the MSP for common variety of paddy has been fixed at Rs 1,750 per quintal where it would be Rs 1,770 per quintal for Grade A variety of paddy. Similarly, the MSP for hybrid variety of Jowar has been fixed at Rs 2,430 per quintal and Rs 2,450 per quintal for maldandi variety of Jowar.
- He said that the MSP of Bajra has been fixed at Rs 1,950 per quintal, Ragi at Rs 2,897 per quintal and Maize at Rs 1,700 per quintal.
