- Chandigarh, Sept 5- Haryana government has decided to amend the Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Circle Cadre, Workmen Establishment Group C Service Rules, 2011.
- A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting of State Cabinet held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal here today.
- In the Haryana Irrigation Department, Circle Cadre, Workmen Establishment Group C Service Rules, 2011, there was no avenue of promotion from the post of Canal Guard. Hence, the rules have been amended. This amendment will pave the way for introducing promotional avenues for the post of Canal Guards to a number of Class III posts of Storekeeper, Mason, Plumber, Telephone Attendant and few others.
