- Chandigarh, Aug 20 – Haryana Government has decided to appoint State Public Information Officer (SPIO) and First Appellate Authority (FAA) at State Headquarter to ensure quality and authenticity of information under the Right to Information Act,
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Under Secretary would be SPIO and Joint Secretary, Special Secretary or Secretary would be FAA at Haryana Civil Secretariat and FC
- He said that Executive Engineer would be SPIO and Chief Engineer would be FAA at Directorates of Public Works Department or Engineering Departments. Similarly, Joint Director would be SPIO and Additional Director or Director would be FAA at other Directorates, he
- The spokesman said that all the Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments have been directed through a written communication to issue appointment orders of SPIO and FAA, accordingly.
