  • Chandigarh, May 15 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today said that there is certain enthusiasm among foreign investors  to invest in India especially in Haryana.
  • Mr Manohar Lal was interacting with the media persons after returning from his seven-day foreign visit to Israel and United Kingdom at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi today.
  • He said that as a result of policy initiatives taken by the State Government for the industrial and trade and business development, the foreign investors are quite enthusiastic to invest in Haryana.
  • He said that several meetings were held with the investors during the visit to United Kingdom and many Memorandums of Understanding were signed. Now the need is to proceed further in this direction.
  • He said that the safety and equipment remained prominent topic during Israel visit.  Beside this, coordination to be further extended with the Israel on the action plans in the field of agriculture, horticulture and micro irrigation, he added.
  • Mr Manohar Lal was accompanied by Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi and MLA, Mr Aseem Goel. He was warmly welcomed by people after returning from his foreign visit at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
