Chandigarh, December 13 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal has delivered a significant gesture to over 90000 employees by strategically adjusting them in various departments through rationalizing the outsourcing policy. This move aims to liberate these employees from the grip of contractors. In addition, it serves as a firm response to purported employee unions engaging in political activities under the guise of advocating for the workforce which is being discussed nationwide.
Addressing concerns about the exploitation of these employees by contractors in relation to EPF contribution and ESI, the Chief Minister has taken decisive action. He has established the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, a centralized entity designed to offer comprehensive facilities and support to employees.
Government gave jobs to more than one lakh youth
While underscoring the crucial role of employees in the functioning of a democracy, Chief Minister said that over the past 9 years, the present government has diligently conducted the recruitment process for government employees with transparency and on a merit basis. This commitment to fair practices has resulted in the employment of over 1.10 lakh youth. Furthermore, ongoing efforts are evident in the recruitment process for more than 60000 posts, currently progressing through various stages. The Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam plays a pivotal role in promptly meeting the workforce requirements of departments. Swiftly adapting to the demands, the Nigam issues job offer letters to eligible candidates within approximately 20 days.
