Chandigarh November 30- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today participated in the commemoration of the 165th birth anniversary of renowned Indian scientist Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose at J.C.Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
In a Program organized by the University, the Chief Minister offered floral tributes to Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose at the University premises.
Sh. Manohar Lal emphasized Bose's visionary contributions, stating that his life serves as a role model for young researchers who should draw inspiration from the great Indian scientist.
Notably, the University was named after Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose in 2018, recognizing his significant contributions to science, as announced by Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar in a program organized by the University in 2017.
During the event, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tomar briefed the Chief Minister on academic and developmental initiatives by the University.
Haryana Higher Education Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of JC Bose University Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, MLAs, Sh. Narender, Gupta, Smt. Seema Trikha and senior officials from the University and the District Administration remained present on this occasion.
