Chandigarh, Sept 7 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal stated that the present state government is redefining the concept of continuous development in the state with the principle of "minimum government-maximum governance." To instigate change and enhance the system, we have embraced technology, making services available online to ensure that the benefits of our programs directly reach the intended beneficiaries.
Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal was interacting with the people in Jan Samvad at Bahabalpur village in Hisar district today.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister took the opportunity to inspect the products crafted by various self-help groups. Bahabalpur village boasts seven women's groups, with 70 women significantly improving their livelihoods by producing a diverse range of products through their collective efforts.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government has provided tablets to students from classes X to XII. He said that this year's tablets have been updated with additional subjects to facilitate online learning for students.
During Jan Samvad, the Chief Minister gathered feedback from students regarding the usefulness of these tablets. Students expressed that the tablets have proven to be valuable for their studies and are benefiting them. Furthermore, the Chief Minister also mentioned that efforts are underway to improve internet connectivity, and discussions with mobile companies are ongoing to enhance connectivity to ensure that students face no hindrance in their studies.
Families are benefiting through PPP
In Bahabalpur also, pensions of 30 people have been made automatically. He said that 599 citizens in this village are receiving old age, disabled, and widow pension.
Sh. Manohar Lal stated that this system has brought transparency in the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and Ration Card. 12.50 lakh new ration cards have been made in the state. In village Bahabalpur the number of ration cards has increased from 175 to 873. 141 people of this village have got their treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The government has borne Rs 41 lakh for his treatment.
During the Jan Samvad, the Chief Minister extended birthday wishes and presented gifts to three residents of the village, Jatin, Ravina, and Sandeep, who were born on September 7th, as per their birthdates recorded in the PPP.
