Chandigarh, Aug 25 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal extended his heartfelt congratulations to nation on the momentous achievement of successfully landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar surface. This landmark accomplishment has positioned India as the first nation to reach the Moon's enigmatic South Pole.
He was speaking on the inaugural day of the monsoon session in Vidhan Sabha here today.
Radiating an atmosphere of jubilation, the Chief Minister expressed the collective pride that envelops the nation, as well as the assembly, in this groundbreaking feat. He attributed this triumph to the exceptional dedication and relentless efforts of the brilliant minds at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Highlighting the significant contribution of the state of Haryana, Mr. Manohar Lal detailed the integral role that the region played in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. He underscored the utilization of components sourced from Rohtak and Rewari, citing nuts, bolts, and wires from these districts that were used in the mission's success. Furthermore, the Chief Minister commended the participation of youth from various districts, including Ambala, Bhiwani and Hisar, who were an essential part of the Chandrayaan-3 team.
Referring to the visionary approach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he also hailed the Prime Minister's unwavering support and encouragement that bolstered the morale of the country's scientists at every juncture. Under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, India has etched a distinct identity on the global stage and made significant strides in various domains, he added.
The Chief Minister reiterated his hearty congratulations for the triumphant landing of Chandrayaan-3 and expressed his optimism for future endeavours.
