Chandigarh, July 31 - Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Mahabharata theme based Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra will be constructed at Gita Sthali Jyotisar at a cost of Rs. 205 crore. This project will become a cynosure for tourists.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal reached Gita Sthali Jyotisar on Monday to inspect the Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra project which is currently under construction. Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra project is based on the Mahabharata theme. CM took detailed information about the progress of the project from the officers of the tourism department.
A budget of Rs. 205 crore will be spent by the state government for this project. Out of this budget, an amount of Rs. 30 crore has been spent. Out of the budget released by the Government of India, a budget of Rs. 29 crore has been spent on the construction work of the building.
The Chief Minister said that in the block A of this Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra project, characters of Mahabharata will be showcased. Block A will also consist of a ticket counter and audio guide area.
He further informed that Block B will have tableaux highlighting the main causes of Mahabharata, such as ‘Draupadi Cheerharan’, ‘Lakshya Graha’ etc. In Block C, detailed information of Mahabharata will be showcased. Various high tech techniques including 3D mapping, holography are being used in this project.
MD Sinha, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department has given detailed information about this project.
On this occasion, MLA, Sh. Subhash Sudha, Ambala City, MLA, Sh. Aseem Goel, Shahabad MLA, Sh. Ram Karan, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Shantanu Sharma, SP, Sh. Surendra Bhauria, Dr. Chandra Prakash Divedi, besides other senior officers were present.
