Chandigarh, July 30 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that in the last nine years, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has worked to provide rights to the underprivileged and to give India a new global identity.
“Following the philosophy of Antyodaya, the government in Haryana has been consistently speeding up development works while also serving the last mile citizen. Organizing Jan Samvad is a medium to reach out to the maximum number of people at the grass root levels,” said Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing the gathering at the Jan Samvad organized at village Gangaicha Ahir, district Rewari on Sunday.
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the exhibition organized by Rural Livelihood Mission, Self Help Group Ujala, CRID at the venue. Along with this, he also distributed tricycles and hearing aids to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
The Chief Minister said that in the village Gangaicha Ahir, till now an amount of Rs. 1.48 crore has been spent by the government on various development works for the village. On the demand of the villagers, he announced the construction of the building of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) after the land is provided. Apart from this, the construction of one kilometre Phirni, the construction of vyayamshala, the construction of a paved road to the cremation ground of the village under the Shivdham Navinikaran Scheme, the problem of drinking water supply in the BPL colony will also be resolved at priority basis.
He directed the officers of the Irrigation Department to prepare a feasibility report for the construction of a bridge over the Bhurthal Minor. Along with this, a letter will be written to NHAI requesting for the construction of an underpass on the way to the cremation ground of Gangaicha Ahir village. Apart from this, construction and renovation of approach roads will also be done.
Grants for development works in the villages will be given as per PPP data
The Chief Minister said that the Parivar Pehchan Patra is an important document for taking benefit of government schemes; hence every household must get the PPP IDs made. Not only that, the population of the village is also being assessed through PPP. Accordingly, a grant for development works is provided.
He said that in the last eight and half years, the present state government, while adopting zero tolerance against corruption, has taken several steps to root out corruption, and has had got some success. He stated that hard-working youth are getting employment in the state without paying a single penny, and 37 youth have got jobs in Gangaicha Ahir village on a merit basis.
The Chief Minister asked the gathering that if someone had demanded money from them promising any job, then they can personally share the information about such people with him and also promised to put such corrupt people behind the bars within 24 hours.
During the Samvad the Chief Minister shared that 1122 eligible citizens have got Ayushman cards in the village, of which 35 people have availed the benefits given under this and an amount of about Rs 11 lakh has been spent by the government on this. He further shared that presently 418 people are getting the benefit of the pension scheme in Gangaicha Ahir, while the pension of 6 people is made through auto mode.
Chairman, Haryana Tourism Corporation, Sh. Arvind Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Imran Raza and other dignitaries and officers of various departments also remained present on this occasion.
