Chandigarh, July 18- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while expressing grief over the death of four members of a family after consuming vermicelli in Ranika village of Nuh district announced a financial assistance of Rs. 8 lakh for the family.
The government is standing with the family in this hour of grief. Other members of this family are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital, said Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing the gathering at state level inauguration and foundation stone laying programme held at Ferozepur Jhirka in Nuh district today.
The Chief Minister said that the previous governments used to limit the development up to their respective districts only, while after Bharatiya Janata Party’s government was formed, any developmental projects starts from the Mewat region.
He said that the present state has reduced the distance of Chandigarh for this area with the resolve of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas. A network of roads is being laid in the entire state. The picture of this area is changing after the construction of the Delhi-Mumbai Highway. In the coming time, this area will become a new centre of investment. The country is scaling new heights of development under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi asserted Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that the previous governments continued to do politics considering Nuh district as a vote bank. These people are so hungry for power that by telling lies to the common man, they tried to create a gap between the government and the public.
He said that education and health are the basic requirements for any society to move forward and a lot of work has been done in both these areas for Mewat. He said that it is the endeavour of the government that children studying in madrassas should also get mainstream education.
The Chief Minister said that the government has made life easier for the people by taking numerous IT initiatives. He said that today Haryana has made a lot of progress in the field of energy. 24-hour electricity is being provided in 5600 villages of Haryana. By the end of this year, there is a target of providing 24-hour electricity to all 6200 villages. He said that the government has worked for every section without any discrimination.

On this occasion, Public Health and Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that Haryana, under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was the first to complete Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's Har Ghar Nal Se Jal Abhiyan.
He said that the Chief Minister has also given approval to increase the drinking water supply for Ferozepur Jhirka from 55 LPCD to 70 LPCD. Haryana government is working with the spirit of Antyodaya; no discrimination is being done with anyone, he added.
