Chandigarh, June 12: Renowned writer, and lyricist Sh. Manoj Muntashir today met Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal during his Karnal visit. During this, he also showed some glimpses of the film Adipurush to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister extended best wishes to Manoj Muntashir for the film.
During the meeting, Sh. Manoj Muntashir also discussed other issues related to the film industry with the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making constant efforts to provide facilities to films and artistes.
“The state government has identified about 60-70 acres of land in Pinjore for Film City for the facilities of filmmakers and artistes. Film-makers will get a lot of facilities from this film city,” said the Chief Minister, adding that the government stands with the artists and will continue to work for their welfare in future also.
Artistes play significant role in showing right direction to society
Sh. Manohar Lal said that an artiste has a very significant role in showing the right direction to the society. While giving their contribution to the nation building, the artistes should continue to make the common people aware and motivated towards the country and social service, he added.
