Chandigarh, June 4 - The Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, who resides at Sant Kabir Kutir today paid tribute to mystic poet Sant Kabir Das Ji on his birth anniversary. He also extended warm greetings to the people of the state on Sant Kabir Das Jayanti.
Sh. Manohar Lal stated that the teachings and beliefs of Sant Kabir Das promote equality of all religions and social harmony in society. Referencing the couplet of Sant Kabir Das, "Jaath na poocho sadhu ki, pooch lijiye gyan, mol karo talwar ka, pada rahen do meyaan," the Chief Minister emphasized that the teachings of Sant Kabir are relevant to society even today.
Furthermore, inspired by the thoughts of Sant Kabir Das, the state government is working for the welfare of every section of the state by rising above caste and stepping forward with the spirit of "Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek," he added.
It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has dedicated his entire life to social welfare. From a young age, he started working for the betterment of society. Even after becoming the Chief Minister of the state, he is still committed to fulfilling his goal of public service. In addition, Sh. Manohar Lal has initiated a new initiative that demonstrates his simplicity and respect for saints and eminent figures. He also changed the name of the Chief Minister's residence to 'Sant Kabir Kutir.'
