Chandigarh, May 12: Moving forward with the initiative of interacting with the people of villages and resolving their grievances; Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal will hold the Jan Samvad programme in Sirsa district on Saturday. During the three-day Sirsa tour from May 13 to May 15, the Chief Minister under the Jan Samvad programme will interact with the people of about nine villages and will resolve their grievances on the spot. Apart from this, he will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects for the people of the district.
On May 13, the Chief Minister will interact with the people of villages Khairekan, Bada Gudha and Kalanwali. On May 14, the Jan Samvad programme will be held in villages Chormar Kheda, Dabwali and Abubsehar; while the programme on May 15 will be held in villages Bani, Sant Nagar and Ottu. This will be the fourth Jan Samvad programme of the Chief Minister. Earlier, the programmes were held in villages of Bhiwani, Palwal and Kurukshetra districts.
Positive impact of Jan Samvad programmes visible on ground
The Chief Minister’s interaction with the locals through the Jan Samvad programmes, in which he discusses various issues and listens to their problems by sitting among them as the head of the family; is garnering appreciation and delivering results on ground with positive impact.
Public problems will be tracked through Jan Samvad portal
As per the directions of the Chief Minister, a portal has been developed to ensure quick disposal of complaints and problems of the common people. On the Jan Samvad portal, the details of the complaints and demands given in writing by the people to the public representatives will be uploaded, besides all the complaints raised during the Jan Samvad programmes. The citizens can also send their grievances directly on the portal.
Besides, the accountability of the officers has also been fixed through this portal to ensure quick redressal of the grievances and the information about the same would be shared with the complainant via message. A better mechanism has been prepared by the government to provide services to the citizens smoothly.
