Chandigarh, May 5 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s commitment towards humanity and state’s development is vividly known to everyone. Chief Minister considers the people of Haryana as his family and at time of need he always stand first by their side.
It was clearly seen in a recent incident that happened on Friday as the Chief Minister was on his way from Chandigarh to Panchkula. The Chief Minister asked to halt his convoy when he observed a disabled woman on the side of the road and inquired about her condition. The Chief Minister gave financial support to the woman on the spot from his pocket and also assured to provide benefits of government schemes.
The woman was amazed to see the Chief Minister in front of her. The woman said that she could never have imagined that one day the Chief Minister of Haryana will personally come and help her. The woman said whatever she had heard about the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, he is exactly the same who is working day and night to serve the underprivileged and deprived. The woman said that she prays to God to keep the Chief Minister healthy and give him long life so that he shall continue his selfless service.
The Chief Minister is moving ahead with the spirit of Antyodaya and working for the welfare of the society as a whole. In order to improve the living standard of the people education, health services and employment are key sectors to work upon. The state government has implemented many welfare schemes for various sections, so that they could be brought into the mainstream and contribute in the development of the state. The state government has implemented Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana so as to make poor and underprivileged self-reliant.
Expanding the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the Haryana government has launched the Chirayu Haryana Yojana with the aim of providing health facilities to the underprivileged and the needy. Under this scheme, families having an annual income of up to 1.80 lakh are getting an annual health cover of Rs. 5 lakh. At present, as many as 29 lakh families are being benefited under this scheme in the state. Thus the Chief Minister is working for the upliftment of the poor and people belonging to the deprived sections of the society.
