Chandigarh, May 3: The initiative of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal to listen to the public grievances in rural areas by sitting among them through Jan Samvad programmes; is proving to be very effective. Through this, the problems and demands of the people are being met quickly.
Moving in this regard, the Chief Minister today flagged off a bus to ply from Pehowa to Karnal, via Abhimanyupur and Anjanthali villages; completing the demand of the people in less than 24 hours.
On May 2, the people during the Jan Samvad programme in Kurukshetra’s Abhimanyupur village had demanded before the Chief Minister to ply a bus from Abhimanyupur village to Kurukshetra University and Karnal; on which the Chief Minister had immediately directed the General Manager of Roadways to prepare a route for the plying of the bus. The people expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for fulfilling their demand in less than 24 hours.
The Chief Minister’s interaction with the locals through the Jan Samvad programmes, in which he is discussing various issues and listening to their problems by sitting among them as the head of the family; is garnering appreciation and delivering results on ground.
