Chandigarh, May 1- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs.6.38 crore to be executed in the new grain market phase-II in Jhansa, district Kurukshetra.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that development schemes formulated in the interest of the farmers are being implemented meticulously on ground. With these development works, the farmers will get all facilities required during hassle free sale of their crops in the mandi, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that with the objective of providing additional facilities to the Arhtiyas and farmers, the new Anaj Mandi Phase-2 will be constructed in an area of 8 acres, 2 kanal, 6 marla, under which three individual platforms, one common platform will be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.38 crore.
The mandi will also have a covered shed, two parking lots, water supply and proper sewerage system, informed the Chief Minister.
Minister of State for Printing and Stationary, S. Sandeep Singh, MLA, Sh. Ram Karan Kala, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Jawahar Yadav, Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Sh. Bharat Bhushan Bharti and other dignitaries also remained present on this occasion.
