Chandigarh, April 13: Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal announced to upgrade the 33 KV substation of Bahin village to 66 KV as per the demand of the people during a Jan Samvad programme on Thursday. He said that for the construction of Girls College in Bahin village, the panchayats of Manpur and Bahin villages should pass and send a fresh proposal for land.
Before the Jan Samvad programme, the Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the statue of Dada Kanha Rawat.
He said that the government is taking meaningful steps to make electricity available in sufficient quantities in the villages. “100 percent solution to the electricity problem in the village is being done, for which the capacity of feeders is increased. Today, 24 hours electricity is being provided in about 5600 villages. Earlier, the line loss was 34 percent, which has now come down to 13 percent,” he added.
On the complaints regarding ration received in the Anganwadi centres of Bahin village, the Chief Minister instructed the Additional Deputy Commissioner to investigate the matter. He said that the amount of ration received in the Anganwadis and the method of its distribution should be closely examined.
Besides, tenders will soon be invited for the construction of five roads in the area, including Ali Meo village to Bahin, Bahin to Mandori, Malpur to Aurangabad and Bahin to Malpur. The construction work will be started as soon as the tender process is completed, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
“The state government has been serving the common people for the last eight and a half years. It is the effort of the government that people get the benefit of public welfare schemes effectively and for this, development schemes are being given a concrete shape in every field with transparency,” said the Chief Minister.
Gau Seva paramount in human life
After the Jan Samvad programme, the Chief Minister also visited Dada Kanha Gaushala in Bahin village. “Gau Seva is paramount for the common man. There is no other service greater than this and we must take out some part of our good earnings and donate it for Gau Seva,” he said.
On the occasion, MLA Sh. Praveen Dagar, former MLA Sh. Kehar Singh Rawat, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Jawahar Yadav, Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Sh. Amit Arya and other dignitaries were present.
