Chandigarh, April 4: Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, on the third day of his visit to Bhiwani district, conducted a surprise inspection of Tosham Police Station today. During this, the Chief Minister also announced an amount of Rs. 5 lakh for the infrastructure; including bed arrangements for the constables in the police station.
The Chief Minister inspected the armory and record room of the police station along with the mess and other rooms. He also appreciated the Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhbir Singh for cleanliness arrangement at the police station.
Sh. Manohar Lal instructed Superintendent of Police, Ajit Singh Shekhawat and station in-charge, to curb incidents of crime in the area. He instructed the officers to take up the complaints of the general public seriously by taking effective action. The Chief Minister also gave necessary guidelines for upgrading the police station.
CM addresses Jan Samvad programme in Tosham
During the Jan Samvad programme at Tosham village, Sh. Manohar Lal said that 1,850 new ration cards have been made in the village. Similarly, Ayushman cards have been made for 6,339 people in the village, out of which 197 Ayushman card holders have got their treatment done; of an amount of Rs 17 lakh. He said that the government has given government jobs to the youth without ‘parchi-kharchi’. Around 70 youths have got jobs in Tosham village, he added.
Extending gratitude to the Chief Minister, a local said that it is due to the transparency in the recruitments of the present government, that he has got the job without any recommendation; for which recommendation was needed in the previous governments.
The Chief Minister said that the present government has made transfers online under transparency by implementing the online transfer policy. Also, the state government has given a big relief to the general public by making the Fard of the land online.
On the occasion, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Sh. JP Dalal, Member of Parliament, Sh. Dharambir Singh and other officials were present.
During the year 2023, the Chief Minister will visit all the districts of the state and will hold Jan Samvad programmes; that started from April 2 from Bhiwani’s Kharak Kalan village. Keeping in mind the old traditions of the rural areas, charpoys (cots) and muddha (stool) were used in the Jan Samvad programmes; where the Chief Minister was interacting with the people.
