Chandigarh, March 21 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the State Government has framed various Rules to govern services conditions of Group A, B, C & D officers and officials and also issued several instructions from time to time to reforms the civil services.
The Government examines and considers proposals received from time to time to determine the hierarchy levels in various Departments, Boards, and Corporations, for which the State Government has formed a Rationalization Commission, shared Sh. Manohar Lal while replying to a question regarding reforms in civil services raised during the question hour in the ongoing budget session of the State Vidhan Sabha today.
Divulging further details, the Chief Minister informed that as on date, a total of 166 IAS officers are serving in the State and 237 HCS (Executive Branch) officers are also serving in the State.
Further, Haryana Public Service Commission has recommended 48 candidates for appointment to HCS (Executive Branch ) for Register -B (direct recruitment ), and the appointment of these 48 candidates is under process, shared Sh Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister informed that 14 IAS officers are currently on deputation with Central Government and 2 IAS officers are with Union Territory, Chandigarh Administration. The 4 number of HCS ( Executive Branch) officers are on deputation with Union Territory, Chandigarh Administration.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government will consider all the feasible suggestions shared by the MLA in the House.
He said that the transfer of officers is an administrative process and takes place at the administrative level. Transfers are done according to the requirement and capabilities of the officers, so no criteria can be fixed for the transfer of the administrative wing.
