Chandigarh, February 26- Known for delivering ‘easy and speedy’ justice to all, Haryana Chief Minister while holding a Jan Samvad Programme at Karnal today heard more than 600 complaints and ensured on-the-spot redressal of the most.

"As Chief Minister, I am committed for resolving every single grievance raised before me by my citizen in a fair and transparent manner. Would not even hesitate to amend rules, if required, to make the life of the common man easier," said Sh. Manohar Lal while interacting with media after the Jan Samvad Programme held in Karnal on Sunday.

The Chief Minister said that a new experiment was done during the Jan Samvad programme by forming separate committees of top officials of the concerned departments.

“Since its formation, these committees have been hearing the grievances of the complaints related to Police, Local Bodies and Parivar Pehchan Patra,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that many of these complaints were addressed on the spot, while directions have been given to officers concerned to ensure that the pending ones are also resolved at the earliest.

The Chief Minister said that no single complaint, raised in the Jan Samvad Programme has been left unheard.

“A Jan Samvad Programme is being organized in each district. Karnal was the fifth district where such a programme was organized today. In the coming days, more such programmes will be organized in the remaining districts as well, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

After Jan Samvad programme, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the park near Western Yamuna Canal Kachhwa Bridge. This park has been built on 3.10 acres at a cost of Rs 2.40 crore.
