Chandigarh, November 29: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the entire life of the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu is inspirational and many incidents in her life fill the people with excitement, which makes it exemplary.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the President's civic reception organised at Haryana Raj Bhavan today. Sh. Manohar Lal said that he will always be grateful to President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu on her visit to Haryana for the first time as President; during the inauguration of International Gita Mahotsav. He said that it is a matter of good luck for the people of the state that they have got the opportunity to learn a lot from the life of the President.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government is working on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s mantra - 'Last is First', which is benefiting the common people. He said that the work done by the state government for the scheduled castes is unprecedented. “This is an important time for the people of India and the state, which is entering the 75th year on the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, when the Haryana government has expanded the Ayushman Bharat scheme by adding 28 lakh families to it; after which the scheme has been named CHIRAYU,” he asserted.
He further said that the state government has started the Nirogi Haryana Scheme for the people with income less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Along with this, the data of all the people of the state is available with the government through Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) which is used from time to time to provide benefits of necessary schemes.
The Chief Minister said that with this data, the Haryana government is preparing schemes on the basis of need, in which old age pension is automatically made to the person after attaining the age of 60 years. “Not only this, ration cards of BPL families also reach their homes after being made. Today, there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the entire state and the Haryana government is fulfilling all the needs of the people on time”, added Sh. Manohar Lal.
On the occasion, Governor of Haryana, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya, Governor of Punjab, Sh. Banwari Lal Purohit, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, Speaker, Haryana Legislative Assembly, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, along with several ministers, MPs, MLAs, administrative officers and dignitaries were present.
