Chandigarh, October 11 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today inaugurated the newly renovated media centre at Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh. During this, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal and Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta also remained present.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that as media plays a pivotal role in ensuring quick dissemination of information to the masses and while acknowledging the same newly renovated media Centre has been equipped with hi-tech facilities.

“Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal had prepared the blueprint for the renovation of this centre after holding meetings with the media persons.  As per the requirements shared by the media persons, hi-tech facilities have been ensured in this media Centre,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that technical and IT requirements related to print, electronic and social media have been made available in the media centre.

Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Sh. Anurag Agarwal, Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages, Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Additional Director (Admn) Smt. Varsha Khangwal, Joint Director (Admn), Sh. Aman Kumar also remained present.
