Chandigarh September 25- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of the Sikh community of Haryana on the decision of the Supreme Court to constitute a separate Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee for Haryana. He said that soon a commission or authority will be constituted and after that the election of Haryana Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee will be conducted. The Chief Minister today bowed his head at Gurudwara Pehli Patshahi, Panipat and Gurudwara Israna Sahib ji.
The Chief Minister said that the issue of separate Gurdwara Management Committee for Haryana was long pending in the Supreme Court. He said that after this decision all 52 Gurdwara Sahib in the state will work under the supervision of this committee and will continue to serve the society through their selfless service. He appealed to the present Sadh Sangat to collectively select the committees for the purpose of rendering service to the society.
Special girdawari will be done for crop damage due to incessant rain
While interacting with the mediapersons in Panipat, the Chief Minister said that crops have suffered a lot due to incessant and unseasonal rain. Directions have been issued to conduct special girdawari to assess the crop damage.
Responding to another question regarding the procurement, he said that the procurement will begin from October 1. All adequate arrangements have been made in this regard.
Responding to another question, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the administration has started cracking down on those illegal encroachment made by criminals in the last few days. The administration is taking stern action in this regard. The state government and district administration are keeping a close watch on such miscreants.
Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia, Rajya Sabha MP, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, MLA, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda and MLA, Sh. Parmod Vij were also present on the occasion.
