Chandigarh, September 20 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Sikh Sangat across the state on the decision of Supreme Court for upholding the validity of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Act.
Showing gratitude over the decision of SC, a delegation of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee today reached Chandigarh to meet, Sh. Manohar Lal at his residence.
The delegation led by Sh. Baljit Singh Daduwal, President of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee expressed gratitude and felicitated the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal by presenting Siropas and garlands. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that by announcing this historic decision, the Supreme Court has given the rights to the Sikhs of Haryana. In the case of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, the Haryana Government had firmly put its stand in the Supreme Court. After hearing for almost 8 years, the court has given this historic decision, which is a matter of great relief for the Sikhs across the state. The Chief Minister said that the State Government was working in the interest of Sikhs. He assured the delegation that all possible help would be extended in future as well.
