Chandigarh, September 2 – The National President of BJP, Sh. J.P Nadda while addressing the party's ‘Amrit Kaal Sankalp rally’ organized in Kaithal on Friday said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has done exemplary work to change the culture of politics in the country and the state. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal also remained present on this occasion.
“The development graph clearly indicates that through a transparent system radical changes have been brought in the country and Haryana. Now the eligible beneficiaries are getting the direct benefits of the schemes run by the Central and the State Governments. The role of the middleman has been completely abolished. At present, ‘Narendra Modi led India has become a ‘giver’ not ‘taker’,” said Sh. J.P Nadda.
He said that in a bid to further strengthen the health services, a medical college will be constructed in Kaithal at a cost of Rs 997 crore.
He said that both the Central and State Governments while rising above casteism, regionalism, and nepotism ideologies, has worked dedicatedly to implement many welfare schemes for every section.
He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi India is giving a new direction to the world. Every day highways having a cumulative length of 37 km, and railway tracks having a length of 9.5 km are being laid. Besides this, work is being done to build 220 new airports. Today, foreign exports worth crores are being done in the country and the state.
Sh. J.P Nadda said that in the recently held Commonwealth Games, the players of the country won 22 gold medals. Apart from this, Haryana is recording remarkable achievements in the field of sports, today Haryana has become the new definition of sports. Impressed by the sports policy of Haryana State, other states have also started adopting it.
He said that the Prime Minister is taking every section along. The Modi government has also given constitutional status to OBCs. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Urban and Rural Scheme, more than 2.5 crore houses have been built, said Sh. J.P Nadda.
A provision has been made to spend 100 lakh crores under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana to maintain the development pace. Today Haryana has become completely ODF, for which Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal deserves praise.
We will continue to serve society considering it as our family
Sh. Manohar Lal said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, work is being done to ensure the reach of benefits of the government schemes to the grassroot levels. We will continue to serve the society considering it as our family, said the Chief Minister while speaking at BJP’s ‘Amrit Kaal Sankalp rally’ organized in Kaithal on Friday.
While felicitating the people who reached the rally, the Chief Minister said that it is a very pleasant experience for him that such a big rally was organized on just short notice and such a large number of people reached here.
The Chief Minister said that since 2014, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s blessings are with him. He said that when he had assumed the charge of Chief Minister he had pledged not to divide the State in the name of caste and religion and that is how he had coined the slogan of Haryana Ek- Haryanvi Ek to ensure the holistic development of the State.
“We worked a lot on making the lives of the people of the state prosperous, bringing a positive change in the State’s image. Before 2014, Haryana had a different image, but as we came to power, inspired by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, several pivotal steps have been taken to bring in a positive change in the State. By taking several one of its kind initiatives we also showed the way how the benefits of government services and schemes are ensured to those at the bottom of the pyramid,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The government swiftly working to ensure one medical college in every district
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has set a target of opening one medical college in every district. The government is continuously working in this direction. Medical colleges have either been opened in almost all the districts, or work is going on for the same.
The foundation stone of a medical college in the Kaithal district has also been laid. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the Central Government is providing free of cost health treatment facilities of up to 5 lakh to the poor and needy.
The government is emphasizing on skilling of the youth
Sh. Manohar Lal said that pivotal steps are being taken by his government for Higher and Technical Education. While realizing that every youth needs employment, special emphasis is being given to imparting skill education among the youth. Skilling of every youth is the need of the hour so as to ensure that the youth gets ample employment opportunities. In the last eight years, more than 6 lakh people have been selected for private jobs.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government has announced to give guaranteed jobs to the youths selected under Agnipath Yojana. Continuous work is being done to further strengthen the quality of education.
He said that Kaushal Rozgar Nigam has been constituted to end the age-old outsourcing recruitment system in various government departments. Now the recruitment of such employees in all departments will be done through this Nigam only.
We adopted zero tolerance against corruption
The Chief Minister said that from the time the present state government has come to power, zero tolerance against corruption has been adopted. E-reforms have been brought to curb corruption. Be it a leader, an officer, or an employee, the strictest action has been ensured against those involved in corrupt practices.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that today no person has to make rounds of the government offices to get their ration card made as now the beneficiaries are getting the same made through Parivar Pehchan Patra. Similarly, the pension benefits are also ensured automatically once the beneficiary attains the pension age. Eligible are now getting caste certificates with just one click.
Dedicated efforts are being made to increase the income of farmers
Sh. Manohar Lal said that dedicated efforts are being made by the State Government to increase the income of the farmers. The state is running an extensive awareness programme is being run to make the farmers aware of the benefits of several schemes such as Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana, Har Khet Ko Pani, compensation for crop damage, and procurement of 14 crops at MSP. He said that the farmers should also move towards adopting crop diversification. Today every section of the society is happy, added the Chief Minister.
