Chandigarh, July 28 - Haryana Chief Minister said that for drainage of rain water the State Government has made all the requisite arrangements.

The Chief Minister was responding to queries by mediapersons after the meeting of 'Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran' at Haryana Niwas today. On this occasion, Haryana Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister, Sh. JP Dalal was also present.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is concerned about the farmers and is making every effort to extend all help to them. The committees which will be created under the 'Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran' will study the possibility of other activities along with farming that will help farmers increase their income.

The Chief Minister said that all arrangements have been made by the State Government to drain the excess water logging due to rain. No farmer will be allowed to face damage to their present crop, neither will they be allowed to face problems while sowing their next crop on time.

Describing the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' as a symbol of the spirit of patriotism, the Chief Minister said that from August 13 to August 15, 2022, the state government itself, NGOs and other institutions of the state should hoist the tricolor on every building.

Clearing the confusion being spread by the opposition he said that In the case of old age pension, the economic base was decided from the very beginning, the present government has not made any new rule. Pension of any couple having income less than Rs. 2 lakh will not be discontinued. Rather, our government has started making pension for the elderly automatically on attaining the age of 60 years, which has been welcomed by the senior citizens.

On the issue being raised by the opposition regarding ration card and taking fees from children in government schools, the Chief Minister also clarified that the ration card of any person living from BPL is not being discontinued.

Describing the words used by a senior Congress leader regarding the President of India Smt. Draupadi Murmu as condemnable, the Chief Minister, said that the people of the country will answer to such people.

In the case of missing two children from Rai School, he informed that both the children are safe and they have been found in Jaipur.
