Chandigarh June 20: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has said that the state government is committed to provide better and stronger infrastructural facilities to the people. The Chief Minister today inspected the road being constructed along the elevated railway track at Chinot Colony, Rohtak and the parking of Hooda Complex. The Chief Minister directed the officials to get the road constructed on both sides of the elevated track at the earliest after talking to the railway officials. He said that wide roads should be constructed on both sides so that people can commute with ease.
Referring to the railway underpass, he said that the form of the underpass should be attractive from the technical point of view. By making ramps on both sides, it should be made accessible for traffic. He said that the size of all the underpasses falling under the railway elevated track should meet the standards from the technical point of view. Along with this, he also said that there should be no stagnation of water in the underpass. For this the Municipal Corporation will have to make proper arrangements. The people of Chinot Colony met the Chief Minister and said that there is a gathering of drug addicts in the park here. As a result, the general public has trouble walking in the park. In response, the Chief Minister immediately ordered that the park be renovated from the point of view of security, grills etc.
Sh. Manohar Lal also inspected the construction work of parking attached with HUDA Complex along the elevated road. The Chief Minister took cognizance of the delay in the construction work of the parking lot and talked to the higher officials on the phone and directed them to resolve these issues.
