Chandigarh, June 15 – After the Janta Darbar organized by Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal at his residence 'Sant Kabir Kutir' on Wednesday, people returned home with smiling faces while thanking him. The Chief Minister not only listened to their problems but also gave immediate orders to the officers to do the needful. The people who reached here themselves said that the Chief Minister assured that the deprived section of the society will not be allowed to face any problems.
Jasmer Singh Banjara, a member of the Ghumantu Janjati Kalyan Manch, who came to the Janata Darbar, said that he along with the people of his society had reached the Chief Minister's residence with various demands related to the Ghumantu Jati. During this, the Chief Minister listened to them patiently. The Chief Minister said that the government is collecting the data of every person through the Parivar Pehchan Patra under which every eligible person himself will get the benefit of the schemes related to him. Jasmer Singh said that the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that PPP cards are being made for people belonging to nomadic castes also. Any family whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh, will get the benefit of government schemes first. The main objective of the government is to increase the income of such families. The Chief Minister also assured them to make yellow ration card through PPP.
Yogi Dayanand of Akhil Bharatvarish Nath Samaj, who reached the Janata Darbar, said that he has put forth a demand before the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal that the birth anniversary of Guru Gorakhnath ji should be celebrated. In reply to which Sh. Manohar Lal said that the people of Nath community should decide the day of birth anniversary of Guru Gorakhnath ji by sitting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, Baba Balaknath. Once the date is fixed, the Haryana Government will celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Gorakhnath. Yogi Dayanand expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal.
During the Janata Darbar, the officials of the Bhakra Dam Visthapit Association also met the Chief Minister regarding their demands. Giving information about this, the President of the Association, Hazari Lal Sharma said that when Bhakra Dam was built, people were displaced in Fatehabad, Hisar and Sirsa areas of Haryana. He had come to meet the Chief Minister regarding in this connection. The Chief Minister listened to their demands very carefully. Their main demand was regarding the possession, on which orders have been given to the concerned officer for immediate action. Hazari Lal Sharma and other office bearers who came with him thanked the Chief Minister wholeheartedly.
