Chandigarh, May 29 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today inaugurated a blood donation camp at Government Industrial Training Institute Odhan in Sirsa. He also interacted with the donors and appreciated them for donating blood.
The Chief Minister said that blood donation is a very noble act. A healthy person should actively participate in charitable work like donating blood. The needy get a new lease of life from the blood donated by the good samaritans.
This blood donation camp was organized by All ITI Contract Instructors Association Haryana, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and District Sirsa in collaboration with Shiv Shakti Blood Bank. About 50 units of blood were collected in this donation camp. The Chief Minister encouraged all the employees for organizing the blood donation camp.
On this occasion MP Smt. Sunita Duggal, former MLA Balkaur Singh, former Chairman Sh Jagdish Chopra and the entire executive committee of ITI were present.
