Chandigarh, May 23- All the preparations have been completed for the state level function to be organized at Anaj Mandi, Karnal on the occasion of Prakashotsav of Maharishi Kashyap. Duties have been assigned to the volunteers regarding the programme. Apart from this, people from various religious institutions and organizations will also play their part for the success of the programme. People from across the state have been invited for the function. Thousands of people from across the state are expected to reach here.
Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal will be the Chief Guest at Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti Celebrations. Karnal MP, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia will be present on this occasion. There will be a special presence in the programme of Indri MLA, Sh. Ramkumar Kashyap and Gharaunda MLA, Sh. Harvindra Kalyan.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that he is glad to see the enthusiasm of the people to attend Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti celebrations. He said that everyone should participate in this grand event and try to follow the path shown by Maharishi Kashyap.
It is noteworthy that this programme is being organized by the Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages, Government of Haryana. Several steps have been taken by the state government to bring the history of great men to the people. For this 'Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana' has been started. Through this, the teachings of great personalities are being spread throughout the society. Apart from Maharishi Kashyap, the birth anniversary of Sant Kabir Das ji, Maharishi Valmiki, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Guru Ravidas ji etc. is also celebrated at the state level.
The Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, has decided to celebrate the 400th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji across the country under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. In this episode, a state level function was organized in Panipat on April 24. Similarly, state level events were also organized in the state on the occasion of 550th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and 350th Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
