Anganwadi workers and helpers get more honorarium then their counterparts in other states
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that not only are the Anganwadi workers and helpers given more honorarium than other states in the state, but we have made arrangements to give them a lump sum amount at the time of retirement as well as at promotion. In the last 7 years, many concrete steps have been taken in the interest of Anganwadi workers and helpers. In the month of December last year, the honorarium of Anganwadi workers was increased by Rs. 850 and that of helpers by Rs. 736. In the year 2014, during the time of Congress government, the honorarium of Anganwadi workers was Rs. 7,500 per month which is now Rs. 12,661. Similarly, the honorarium of the helpers was Rs. 3,500 per month in the year 2014 which is now Rs. 6,781. The honorarium given to Anganwadi workers and helpers is given by the central and state governments in the ratio of 60 and 40 percent, whereas in Haryana, the share of the state is more than the total honorarium given in many states. Anganwadi workers used to get Rs. 30,000 ex-gratia on retirement, which has been increased to Rs. 1 lakh and helpers to Rs. 50,000.

The control of this board is with the central government, in which one member from irrigation is appointed from Haryana state and one member from power is appointed from Punjab. He said that efforts are being made to appoint a permanent member in the board. For this, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has also been requested, and he had assured that action would be taken in this regard. Apart from this, a request was also made to the Union Minister of State for Power, New and Renewable Energy. For this, the MPs of the state should also request the central government. The Chief Minister said that he would also meet the Union Home Minister and put forth his demand in this regard.
CMIE presenting false figures
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Center for Monitoring Indian Economy Private Limited (CMIE) is a profit making private company, which is presenting false employment figures in the state. This company presented the unemployment figure of 34.1 percent in its report in December 2021. Just a month later, in January 2022, unemployment was shown at 23.4 percent. How come there has been a drop of 11 percent in just one month? If this is considered right, 16 lakh unemployed people got employment in a month. On this the opposition should praise us. This type of report works to create unrest in the society by presenting baseless figures. The government has denied these figures on several occasions. The CMIE report is baseless and a bundle of lies. Instead of creating instability or sensation in the state on the basis of false figures, the opposition should give some constructive suggestion, so that the people of the state can be benefited.
