Chandigarh, November 15: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that there will be no shortage of manure for sowing wheat and mustard. The supply of fertilizers is being ensured in the entire state by holding regular talks with the Central Government. In the last three days, eight racks of DAP manure have been received from the Central Government, and in the coming three days nine more racks are being ordered.
He said that the Government of India is providing 7000 to 8000 metric tonnes of DAP and NPK fertilizers every day. Haryana government will not let the farmers face any kind of trouble.
The Chief Minister said that keeping in view the sowing season, fertilizers are being made available in every district as per the requirement. Continuous supply of fertilizers is being received from the Central Government, so far 2.10 lakh metric tonnes of DAP has been made available in the state. Out of this, 1.82 lakh metric tonnes of DAP fertilizers have been purchased by farmers. He said that 3.84 lakh metric tonnes of urea manure, 93,000 metric tonnes of SSP manure and 37000 metric tonnes of NPK manure are available in the state.
Farmers should not pay attention to rumours
The Chief Minister said that farmers should not pay attention to the rumours, as there is availability of fertilizer in adequate quantity in the state. Farmers should buy fertilizers according to the need and maintain restraint. He said that farmers can use SSP manure for mustard and NPK manure for wheat and potato in place of DAP. The Agriculture Department is also continuously making the farmers aware of this.
