Chandigarh, November 9 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has given in-principle approval to implement the Seventh Pay Commission for the contractual employees of National Health Mission in the State.
Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission for the contractual employees of the National Health Mission would result in a financial burden of Rs 535.22 crore per year on the State. Besides this, this decision will benefit 11476 contractual workers appointed under the National Health Mission.
It may be mentioned here that in view of the tireless efforts made by the contract employees of NHM, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has decided to extend the benefit of 7th Pay Commission to all these employees.
