Chandigarh, September 5 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today gave a handsome gift of about Rs.21.5 crore to the residents of Jhajjar district by inaugurating development projects as well as Oxyvan and Oxygen plant in view of environmental protection and health security. The people of Jhajjar district welcomed the gift received on Teacher's Day.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the state's largest Oxyvan being developed on an area of 18.5 acre at village Samaspur Majra in Jhajjar district. Apart from this, he also inaugurated Oxyvan developed on 5 acres in village Shahpur Malik, 4.5 acre in Rewari Kheda in and 2.5 acre in village Talav. These Oxyvans will prove to be an important step towards environmental protection in Jhajjar. The Chief Minister also planted saplings at Oxyvan located in Samaspur Majra village.
In order to effectively ensure the supply of oxygen in a disaster like COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief Minister dedicated the oxygen plant set up in the Civil Hospital located at Jhajjar district headquarters from the PM Care Fund to the residents of the district. Along with this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated newly constructed Boys Hostel at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh Government Engineering College located in village Silani Kesho at a cost of Rs 9.17 crore, newly constructed 33 KV sub station at Beri at the cost of Rs 4.19 crore, 33 KV sub station in Ladrawan at the cost of Rs 4.19 crore and 33 KV sub-station constructed at the cost of Rs. 3.89 crore in Soldha village.
