Chandigarh, August 23: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has said that taking a decision regarding giving permission to allow any institution to organize programmes inside University premises is in the purview of the Vice-Chancellor. 

The Chief Minister said this while replying to a question during the monsoon session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha regarding organizing INSO programme at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

He said that the University had given permission to INTUC to conduct the programme on October 17, 2017 by charging the prescribed fee. Besides this, NSUI was allowed to conduct the programme in the same year. He said that the University can allow any institution to conduct the programme under its prescribed rules by charging the prescribed fee.
