Chandigarh, August 23: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that a committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources  Department, Sh. Devender Singh will be constituted to conduct an inquiry regarding allegations raised by Tosham MLA Smt. Kiran Choudhary about acute water shortage in the water works located in villages of Bhiwani district.  He said that the said committee would be submitting its reports within 24 hours.

The Chief Minister made this announcement during the discussion on Calling Attention Motion brought by Smt. Kiran Choudhary highlighting acute shortage of water in Bhiwani District during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

The Chief Minister said that action would be taken against the officers of the department if the statement made by Smt. Kiran Choudhary turns out to be true. The report in this regard would be presented to the Speaker. The report will make it clear who is misleading the House, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
