Chandigarh, August 5: With an aim to bring uniformity in the required educational qualification for the post of Radiographer in all the cadres of State, Haryana Cabinet has given nod to amend the Haryana Health Department Para-Medical and miscellaneous, Posts (State Group C) Service Amendment Rules, 1998. These rules can be called the Haryana Health Department Para-Medical and miscellaneous, Posts (State Group C) Service Amendment Rules, 2020.
The Cabinet under the Chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal accorded the approval of the amendment of the Haryana Health Department Para-Medical and miscellaneous, Posts (State Group C) Service Amendment Rules, 1998.
Under the new Haryana Health Department Para-Medical and miscellaneous, Posts (State Group C) Service Amendment Rules, 2020 any person applying for the post of Radiographer to be filled under direct recruitment must have XII or equivalent examination passed with Science subjects from recognized Board, BSc, (regular) in Radiography and imaging Technology or Equivalent from any recognized University/Institute.
Those having three years Diploma in radiography and Therapy Technology from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak or equivalent three years Diploma from any recognized University/Institute can also apply for the said post Radiographer to be filled under direct recruitment. Besides this, the applicant must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or higher education.
Meanwhile, any person applying for the post of Radiographer to be filled other than direct recruitment requires having the above-said qualifications along with two years experience as Radiographer from any government department/ institute.
