Chandigarh, July 28- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today took an overview of the proposed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) land at village Majra while going from Narnaul to Rewari.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal took stock of the land and directed the officers to expedite the work.
He said that some other people of Majra village have offered to give land for the AIIMS. After the completion of the registry work of this land, work will further speed up. He said that the government taking special interest in getting this work completed and is working continuously on this project.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that only a small patch of land is left for the proposed AIIMS. The District Administration officials are making constant efforts to overcome the problem of this patch of land for the proposed AIIMS in Majra, by speaking to the villagers.
The Chief Minister reviewed the land available on the portal so far regarding AIIMS and inspected the uploaded land according to the map.
Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal while expressing gratitude to the people who gave land for AIIMS said that those who have given land for such a big project should be congratulated. He expressed hope that soon after the completion of AIIMS work, the health facilities in this area would be better and not only Rewari but the surrounding districts would also benefit from it.
On this occasion IG South Range, Rewari, Sh. Vikas Arora, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Yashendra Singh, Superintendent of Police, Sh. Abhishek Jorwal and other officers were also present.
