Chandigarh, May 4 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today sought feedback and suggestions on the arrangements made by the state government for the prevention of the COVID-19 crisis from the Mayor and Councillors of Municipal Corporation Gurugram.
The Chief Minister sought the suggestions during a meeting held through video conferencing from his residence in Chandigarh here today.
The Gurugram Commissioner, Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh, Mayor, Smt. Madhu Azad and other Municipal Councillors also attended the meeting through video conferencing from Gurugram.
The Chief Minister informed that the state government is soon going to create a state-level portal in which information related to oxygen, bed status, etc in all districts will be updated.
He said that the rates of beds and ambulances in all private hospitals have also been capped, if any hospital or ambulance charges more than the fixed rates from the patients, then the government will take over the functioning of the hospital.
"Rates of certain medicines and daily use items have also been fixed, Municipal Councillors are also public representatives, if they get any complaint regarding overcharging then they should immediately bring them to the notice of the government and strict action will be taken against those found guilty, " said the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister also took feedback from all the councillors on the arrangements made by them to tackle the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. He also sought suggestions from the councillors and gave necessary directions to the officers concerned.
