Chandigarh, April 26: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that there is no shortage of oxygen in the state. Government quota has also been set for Remdesivir. On Monday, the Chief Minister was visiting the oxygen plant at Panipat Refinery to take stock of the oxygen situation.
The Chief Minister said that private hospitals are also being closely monitored. The government is getting oxygen according to the quota set. He said that strict directions have been given to ensure the fulfillment of essential services like oxygen, remedies, etc. and to stop black marketing.
The Chief Minister also visited the site where a 500-bed COVID Hospital is to be set up and directed Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, Sh. Dharmender Singh to get the hospital constructed as soon as possible. He said that in the first phase, preparation to set up 250 beds will be started and a structure will be erected in three days. In this way, this hospital will be ready in 10-12 days. After this, the remaining 250 beds will be prepared in the next 15 days.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned officers and contractors that this work should be carried out on war footing. Arrangements should be made in advance for the equipment etc. The Chief Minister directed the Engineer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department, the Tehsildar and the concerned BDPO to have the drawing of the new place prepared and sent to the headquarters by Monday evening.
In response to a question by media persons regarding deaths in Rewari and Gurugram due to lack of oxygen, the Chief Minister said that investigation has been handed over to the concerned SDM, whoever is guilty will not be spared.
