Chandigarh, April 10 – While appreciating the outstanding performance of the Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that it has done an excellent job in the House Survey.
Answering a question during a press conference in Faridabad, Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal said that earlier where the house tax of 1.5 lakh houses used to come to the Corporation, now after the Survey, House Tax of 5.5 lakh houses is being collected. He said that for the last few years, the Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, is managing its expenses on its own. The Chief Minister, in response to a question regarding imposition of lockdown due to COVID-19, said that the pandemic is a matter of concern and one should be aware about it to protect oneself from it. He elaborated that imposing a lockdown is not a solution to the problem and it can be avoided by keeping oneself aware and adhering to the social distancing norms and wearing of masks. He said that the lockdown also has some severe economic consequences which many of us have undergone last year.
Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal also announced to start a bus service from Faridabad to Khatu Shyam in Rajasthan twice a month on the demand of the people.
