Chandigarh, April 9: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today laid the foundation stone for the renovation work of the famous Sheetla Mata Mandir in Gurugram. The new building of the temple will be constructed in a phased manner on an area of about 11.5 acres and will cost about Rs. 200 crore.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister took part in the Yajana organized for the construction of the new building of the temple. Addressing the devotees present, the Chief Minister said that today is a holy occasion. Devotees from all over the country visit Sheetla Mata Mandir. From time to time, messages were received from those devotees about the expansion of this temple building so that the temple can be given a grand appearance. In view of the same messages, it was decided to construct a grand building.
The Chief Minister said that the construction of this building will cost about Rs. 200 crore and it will be constructed in 3 phases. After the construction is complete, enough space will be available for 5 lakh devotees in the temple premises.
He said that Sheetla Mata Mandir, Gurugram is renowned all over the world. He said that if we work with positive energy, then we ourselves will be healthy and the family will also remain healthy.
He said that we have a rich culture on the basis of which India has shown the way to the whole world. From the holy land of Haryana, God gave the divine message of karma to the entire humanity in the form of Gita.
On this occasion Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dharmdev, MLA Gurugram, Sh. Sudhir Singla, MLA Sohna, Sh. Sanjay Singh, MLA Pataudi, Sh. Satya Prakash Jaravata, Mayor, Gurugram, Smt.
