Chandigarh November 6: With a view to prevent the risk of spread of Covid-19 due to polluted atmosphere created by bursting of crackers, the Haryana Government has decided to put a complete ban on the sale of crackers in the State.

This was disclosed by Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal while addressing a press conference here today.

He said that after detailed discussion it has been decided to completely ban the sale of crackers in the State. A notice would be issued in this regard tomorrow, he added.

Among those present on this occasion included Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr D.S. Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr V. Umashankar and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department Mr P.C. Meena.
