Chandigarh, October 25 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that development projects and infrastructure are formulated in public interest so that people can avail full benefit of these facilities.
Therefore, it is for the third time that he has come to interact with people and development works will be done according to their requirement, he assured.
Chief Minister was interacting with the people after taking an overview of the Railway Under Bridge (RUB) which is to be built on the Kalka/Pinjore railway line. The Chief Minister further added that in a democratic government, this kind of infrastructure is built for the convenience of the people. He said that the government wants to provide relief to people from traffic congestion by building this underpass as well as better market facilities for the residents of the area. The Chief Minister said two types of maps were prepared for the convenience of the public for this purpose. He said that this work will be done in consonance with the people.
The Chief Minister said that Pinjore and Kalka have gained prominence after the construction of National Highway. He said that this is an archaeological site and is well-developed for tourism. He said that even after the construction of bypass, people specially come to visit the old city. Apart from this, people going to Himachal still visit the city. He said that the completion of widening of Pinjore-Baddi Road will further enhance the beauty of the city. In this way the Chief Minister has fulfilled this demand of the people and people have expressed happiness over it. The Kalka Traders Board has also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for it. On this occasion Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Mr. Alok Nigam, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. V Umashankar, Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Saurabh Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohit Handa, former MLA, Ms. Latika Sharma, BJP District President, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Principal of Business Circle, Mr. Tarsem Gupta and many officers were present.
