Chandigarh April 15 : Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded approval for filling up 32 posts of different categories on contractual basis in 21 district hospitals of the State for smooth functioning of ventilators and management of crowd during the COVID-19 epidemic.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that these posts include 1 post of Intensivist, 5 posts of Duty Medical Officers, 20 posts of Staff Nurse/Nursing Sister, 5 posts of OTA/OT Technicians/Anaesthesia Technicians and 1 post of Counselor. This would entail financial expenditure of Rs 44, 60,40,000 for one year.
He said that the State Government has allowed to purchase 81 ventilators for various districts of the State in view of the Chief Minister’s Budget speech for the financial year 2020-21. He said that the above mentioned manpower is already functional in District Civil Hospital, Panchkula and now it has been decided to replicate the same in the remaining 21 districts of the State.
He said that apart from this, to meet the requirement of Staff Nurses, Pharmacist and Laboratory Technicians during this phase of epidemic, the Chief Minister has also accorded approval to fill up 1584 posts of Staff Nurse, 92 posts of Pharmacist, 307 posts of Laboratory Technician and 197 posts of Radiographer.
He said the above mentioned posts would be filled up under Part -II of the Chief Secretary Outsourcing Policy.
